Zero-Knowledge AI (zkML) Training
Zero-Knowledge AI (zkML) Training
What It Is: zkML allows AI models to be trained using sensitive or private data without ever exposing that data. It uses something called zero-knowledge proofs, which prove something is true without revealing the underlying information.
How It Works:
When an AI model is trained, normally the data and model can be seen or stolen.
With zkML, ShroudAI generates a proof that says: “This model was trained correctly using real, valid data” — but it never shows the actual data or even the full model itself.
This is useful for protecting medical records, financial data, or personal behavior patterns.
Real-World Example:
A hospital wants to train an AI to detect cancer, using patient scans.
With zkML, they can train the AI without ever sharing the actual scans or patient details.
